June 26 @ 6:30 pm
Wooden House Project’s Chelcey Berryhill and Elizabeth Finkelstein lead this exploration of South Slope’s past and future, including a look at architectural styles, the enormous clock factory, and contemporary developments and preservation issues happening within the community.
The tour will take place in the context of early Brooklyn history, consider its “golden era” in architecture, and also discuss some of the new developments and preservation issues happening within the community.
The group is limited to 30 people, and advanced registration is required. Please expect to see an email from mduncan@brooklynhistory.org. If you’d prefer to receive the location via phone, please send your phone number to Meredith at mduncan@brooklynhistory.org.
Tickets can be purchased at: https://southslope.eventbrite.com
