Vis à Vis (Brighton Beach)
Located in bustling Brighton Beach, Vis à Vis offers “global contemporary cuisine rooted in French techniques.” Chef Charles Disanayake’s menu includes innovative culinary delights such as his special take on a spicy tuna tartar, glazed salmon, flaming foie gras on hot salt stones, short rib terrine with baby kale and roasted apple turnip purée, his award-winning brandied ginger marmalade bread pudding, and much more.

Rooted in the crossroads traditions of Odessa, Ukraine, Glechik boasts a delicious menu directly passed down to owner Vadim Tesler by his mother and grandmother, go-to cooks in that seaport resort city. From varenika with meat baked with mushrooms and mozzarella, to veal liver “Kristian style” with Bulgarian pepper and onion, Glechik offers food for the heart, from the soul.
