The heavily anticipated Berg’n landed in rapidly gentrifying Crown Heights with a bang in the summer of 2014—or was it a bust? It’s hard to tell. The space, cavernous yet fun, is certainly impressive: high ceilings, a beautiful wood bar, and seating that could accommodate half of the borough make it a popular destination for large groups and birthday bashes. Food at Berg’n is from Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Samesa, Ed & Bev’s, and, currently, B’klyn Burro, though that stand will change to Lumpia Shack Snack Bar on November 8.
