Squeezed between Park Slope, Prospect Park, and areas of Flatbush, Windsor Terrace — sometimes called the “South Slope” — offers easy access to greenery and a growing restaurant scene. The neighborhood is within walking distance of Prospect Park and Green-Wood Cemetery, both sprawling and leafy oases. Along Fort Hamilton Parkway, there is a new crop of coffee shops, yoga restaurants, and vegetarian restaurants. The heavily residential side streets are full of modest townhouses, and friendly neighbors who know they’re in on the secret of Windsor Terrace. Photo courtesy of Matthew Rutledge via Flickr.
