The last event of the first ever Selebrasyon! festival, No Passport (NY Edition) Party will transport you to a trans-atlantic realm of beats that’ll keep you bumping!

-About DJ Sabine Blaizin-
Dj Sabine’s work focuses on the exposure and pleasures of African Diasporic music. Brooklyn Mecca and Oyasound are a few of her creative projects. Over the years, Dj Sabine’s mainstay and cultivation has been the monthly event Brooklyn Mecca which has been coined the home of “Grassroots Dance Culture”. Her Oyasound Ep is currently in the works. Most recently, Sabine has joined the Ocha Records label as their Brand Marketing Director/Producer and Bembe NYC Party resident DJ. Dj Sabine spins Global Soul: Hip-Hop, House, Afrotech, Afrobeat, Haitian Roots and other Diasporic tunes. She’s had the great opportunity to spin nationally in the US in NYC, Atlanta, St. Louis, Memphis, Chicago, Omaha, Boston, Miami, LA/Oakland, NJ, Washington DC, Dallas, Denver and internationally in Montreal, Dakar, Haiti, & Cancun. She sits on several panel discussions for the well renown Caribbean Culture Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI), highlighting the power of spirituality in the arts and has been recently invited to be a panelist as an emerging artist at the 27th Annual Women of Power Conference 2014: The Art of Being a Women on Mar. 15th, 2014 Sabine has also made the Most Respected House DJ’s List of 2014 by MediaServiceNyc for recognized innovative djs

-About DJ Gardy Girault- DJ Gardy Girault is rapidly becoming one of the best “house music” DJs in Haiti. Influenced by the sounds of his beloved country, Gardy started his music career in 2008 – playing in clubs alongside artists like Yves Larock and Jephte Guillaume and at international events such as WMC in Miami, France, and New York Fashion Week. From Haiti and living in Haiti, DJ/producer Gardy Girault has been on the house music scene for some time and has popularized his own style of taking Haitian Roots Music and Haitian Percussion and splicing it with electronic beats. He calls the sub-genres Raratech and Konpatech. Gardy Girault has his own unique style and is ready to share it with NYC!

-About No Passport Party-
In 2013, Gardy introduced No Passport Parties, an eclectic movement drawing from the magical melodies and beautiful rhythmic roots of Haiti, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, combined with modern and retro electronic music.
